Description: An overview of the implications of and treatment for reducing premature births using progesterone.

Learning Objectives: Upon completion, participants should be able to 
1.    Recognize the issues surrounding premature birth
2.    Describe the recommended treatment to prevent premature birth and the nursing considerations when caring for these patients.

Learning Assessment: There will be a post test for this activity with a minimum performance requirement of 4 out of 5 correct answers (80%).

Estimated time to complete activity: 50 minutes
