Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion, participants should be able to
1) Identify the risks of propofol and some relevant patient selection factors.
2) Differentiate clinical practice guidelines and standard of care.
3) Describe the ASGE recommendation on the choice of anesthesia and sedation medications.
4) State and implement recommendations for managing sedation for GI endoscopy procedures.

Learning Assessment: There will be a post test for this activity with a minimum performance requirement of 4 out of 5 correct answers.
