Colorectal Cancer Screening: New Guidelines, New Options - For Nurses (1.0 contact hour - Monograph)

Upon completion, participants should be able to
1) Identify the major change in the new USPSTF guideline on CRC screening and explain
    the rationale for it.
2) Define the eligible populations for CRC screening, and the recommended ages at which
    people should begin being screened.
3) Offer and describe to patients multiple recommended screening modalities.
4) Educate patients on the power of lifestyle changes in cancer risk reduction and partner with
    them in decision-making about CRC screening.

Learning Assessment: There will be a posttest for this activity with a minimum performance requirement of 8 out of 10 correct answers (80%).
